Oganesson (poem inspired by Steve Simpson’s threat to write poems about each element of the Periodic Table)

Oganesson

Oganesson

the heaviest of elements

always obsessin’

about its atomic weight,

the size of its orbitals.

Check out Steve Simpson’s blog “Inconstant Light“. Steve is an imaginative, original poet who is also very funny!.

Very funny, and thanks so much for your kind comments about my blog. It’s probably good to be a heavy element. With orbitals I’m not so sure, if they’re complete shells you will be inert, otherwise you might be very acidic.πŸ˜ƒ I look forward to learning more about the elements.πŸ˜ƒ
