Verse Form Freeway

a derelict lai
an abandoned sestina
a rusting rubai

the iambic sun beats down

tarted-up tankas roll by
articulated sonnets
pantoums, tricked-out villanelles

a herd of haikai
a herd of haikai

Very amusing, Jim. I’m laughing now, but by Friday I’ll be wandering that diversified versified desert looking for an iambic beat, a dash of anything that isn’t a stifled scream. Admittedly a journey to the bottle shop might still save me.
