I lived in Spokane WA decades ago — a much dryer far-Western venue than Vancouver or Seattle — but your poem makes me so remember walking out on dry warm spring days, the rich fabulations of scent proffered by the weeds. A pauper’s paradise and so valued here. — Brendan
