I know those who worship this guy, which is what makes me cackle so at Maclean’s quote. I don’t care for the pronouns either but it’s because it is like learning another language, not because they shouldn’t become part of our language. Have you ever read “Egalia’s Daughters”? It flips the script on pronouns.

I’m a bit ambivalent about the pronoun issue, it all seems a bit cumbersome to me, but Peterson tends to use it as an entry point to some conservative / misogynist / anti -trans views. Thanks for reading, I’ll check out Egalia’s Daughters.

Some friends of my son have a 16 year old daughter who flips her pronoun every other week. Cumbersome is right! I can see Peterson has taken it and run with it. Let me know what you think if you read the book.

Yes, I was afraid that might happen! But no I haven’t gone to the dark side. What amazes me is how Peterson’s self esteem seems to depend on some arbitary status derived from his gender.

I only watched about 5 minutes of a video of his and thought: “Who the hell is this person?” His followers, however, seem to think he is the second coming.
