Congratulations Jim! I enjoyed all the poems. I didn’t realise you were born in Dublin. I lived in Navan and Kells in the early eighties and gave birth to my daughter in the Coombe. And now you’re a Canadian and writing about a ‘Backyard Wedding by the Fraser River’. I always wanted to visit Canada, but never got the chance, and love the sound of ‘tug boats and log booms / a band playing soul’.
